Zena and Khadir were looking for a romantic, fairy tale wedding in Portugal. We got them a palace on a hill in romantic Sintra just outside Lisbon.
Always good to work with such an energetic bride. Zena was just that! We have connected via Instagram, and get along right way.
This couple came all the way from Texas, USA to celebrate their story of love in Portugal. They have never been in Portugal up until a few days before the wedding, they really trusted our expertise and advice.
The ceremony was set outside in the beautiful gardens at Casa dos Penedos, right in front of a lake and the stunning old pink building.
The ceremony was framed by an opulent round flower arch filled with romantic roses. The aisle was covered with a white petals setting the romantic tone of the entire wedding.
This was an intimate wedding with no more than 70 guests. It allowed us to set the reception with only one long table at the venue's green house. The entire dinner was surrounded by the green of the trees outside and the romantic flower palette used on the centrepieces.
Decorative corners such as guest book table, the cigar bar and an ethnic inspired lounges at the cocktail completed the look.
Party followed in the stunning ball room, where the couple danced the tango! The cutting of the cake was done out in one of the terraces overlooking Sintra at night.
