We’re proud to introduce you the Kenwood’s! Joana, Portuguese, and Alex, Swedish, navigated to Portugal to get hitched.
From the beginning, they knew very well what they wanted their wedding to be like. It was important for them that it was – within possibility – sustainable, beautiful and modern. “Sunset colours is what we want” – Joana would say to us.
Pestana Palace, located in Lisbon, was the chosen venue that would host all the moments of their big day. The day started with the ceremony on the gardens with a stunning round floor arch. It then complemented with acrylic chairs and flowers on the side of the aisle.
After the rings, it was time for a relaxed cocktail hour. To keep the guests entertained, they hired an ice-cream truck and a live band that was playing throughout the cocktail.
Afterwards, it was followed by the reception at the whimsical Valle-Flôr restaurant. Here, we mixed round and long tables to create an organic layout design. We complemented the tables with high centrepieces, lots of candles and rust napkins. As favours, the couple wanted to offer their favourite brand of jams, which we then personalised to match the wedding branding.
This electronic music lover couple, then cut the cake and danced the night away alongside their closest family and friends. What an amazing ending to an amazing day!
