Ilka & Mateus
Attorneys Ilka and Mateus who are from Brazil tied the knot back in 2007 in a traditional ceremony at a Catholic church in São Paulo with a 300-guest reception and a Beatles cover band playing all night long.
A decade later they decided to renew their vows and made a destination vow renewal happen, complete with their two sweet little ones Pietra and Otávio. Their daughter, who was 3 at the time, and son, 7, were so excited to be part of their vow-renewal plans. Ilka and Mateus wanted it to be a family event celebrating life, marriage, and family and that’s what made this vow renewal so special.
Together with 31 guests the celebration was held in beautiful Alentejo at Torre de Palma under a stunning sunset serving as background to the very emotional ceremony. Olive green, lavender, olive leafs, a macramé backdrop together with boho style dress set the mood for the event.
This unforgettable moment took place in this charming hotel in the heart of the Alentejo with its typical whitewashed architecture and warm surroundings.
The Alentejo vineyards and the warm sun as witnesses of such a pure celebration.
A dinner under the stars (and the beautiful chandeliers), candlelight and so much love. It's simply impossible to explain it with words how this day was, but we feel that it was just like a marriage should be.
